Rim to Rim Grand Canyon Scrapbook Layout

I really like how this Grand Canyon (Rim to Rim!) page layout turned out.

I ripped and layered Creative Memories card stock paper for the layered background effect. 

I added a white journal block on the left side where I can write the story.

This definitely is an adventure worth documenting!

How to use templates in Scrapbooking

If you like getting creative and crafty with your scrapbook layouts but are out of ideas, you will love the many options of using templates to plan your layouts.

Personally, I prefer using Fast2Fab albums because the pages are already decorated and I just add my photos....but I know not everyone likes to 'conform' to the design. Here's a sample of what pre-decorated pages look like:

Mylar Template for creating Scrapbook Page Layouts

If you want to create a variety of scrapbook page layouts, you can use this NEW Creative Memories Template. This mylar stencil includes an assortment of shapes that you can trace and then cut your photos and paper to fit the pattern of your choice.

And guess what??

Creative Memories Photo Labeling Pencil is back!!

You can use the pencil to trace shapes on your photos and it will easily wipe off after you've cut out the shape. (The photo-labeling pencil isn't erasable so don't use it on paper, just photos.)  The mylar recipe template can be washed with warm soapy water if it gets dirty.
