Creative Memories Pocket Pages

Ohmygoodness I'm soo excited about this new development from Creative Memories

They have redesigned the Large Pocket Pages so they are better than ever. Now they have the Jeeping edge on the outside just like all our other Refill Pages. Your albums will have a uniform look. PLUS the new pages come in 8.5x11 and 12x12.

If you digital scrapbook, you can put your 12x12 prints directly into the Pocket Pages.

If you prefer to scrapbook on 12x12 printed Paper, you can put those directly into the Pocket Pages.

If you like to mix and match, you can do that too!

Personally, I love the 8.5x11 size for memorabilia. They fit perfectly into the 12x12 albums!
THREE CHEERS FOR CM!!

(Can you tell I'm excited?)

Here is a quick video and you'll see just how awesome they are:

You can view or order Pocket Pages on my website:

They are also redesigning the Multi-Pocket Pages to have jeeping on the edge too but those aren't ready yet -- those are still wonderful though as I use them in every album and have had no problems.

Enjoy and Happy Scrappin'

Creative Memories Recipe Album - Preserving Old Recipes

I'm so excited to combine Creative Memories 13x9 Pocket Page Album with the new "Made with Love" paper and sticker Collection!

This heartwarming collection is inspired by food, and was created for photos and stories about cooking, baking and gathering with friends to observe traditions when serving food. It features a Paper Pack, Mat Pack and coordinating Stickers.

Pass family recipes and memories down from generation to generation on a backdrop of Made with Love designer papers.  I just love the modern-vintage cooking themes, colors inspired by fresh fruit and produce, and patterns featuring picnic, home cooking and coffee house elements.
I have a few old recipes passed down from my grandma in her writing that I want to preserve.

This pocket album will be the perfect place because I won't have to put any adhesive on the recipes. I can just slide them into the photo-safe pockets.

I'm going to use the new Made with Love mat pack to slide into the pockets as background and also to use for journaling the story/memories behind the recipe. I can't wait to share it with you! How about you? What family recipes would you like to pass down?

How to make a quick themed scrapbook

If you haven't tried Fast2Fabulous yet, this is your chance! With 75 photos and about 60 minutes, you'll impress your friends by getting caught up or making a spectacular gift.

There is a Fast2Fab for every occasion, and no need to 'stay inside the lines.'  Photos look great anywhere on the page. All it takes to make a gorgeous album is a Taper Runner and a pen. Fast2Fab albums come with pre-decorated pages and a set of clear Page Protectors for each page when you're done sticking your photos on. It's super easy and yet the results are stunning!

Here is a quick Before/After example by Jenny Rowan from the CM Home Office so you can see what I'm talking about:

This shows the stack of pre-decorated pages that come with your album. You can work on them loose like Jenny did, by taking them out of the album or you can leave them in the album.

Since the pages are already pre-decorated, all you have to do is stick your photos on the page!  Easy!! And think of all the scrapbooking paper and stickers you won't have to buy.

You can put your photos directly on the 4x6 areas or you can ignore those spots and just put your photos wherever you want on the page. Either way the beautiful theme and colors of the pre-decorated page will show and enhance your photos.

There were only 2 spaces for photos on the right-hand side of this page spread but Jenny just ignored the spaces and mounted 3 photos instead - it still looks awesome! See?  You can color "inside the lines" or "outside the lines" - meaning you can tape your photos inside the lines or outside the lines and either will look great!

Now...what if you have tons of photos from an event - go ahead fill the page up!  OR what I recommend is using Multipocket Pages along with your pre-decorated pages. You can add a pack of these to any Fast2Fab album order for just a little bit extra storage.

I like how they look mixed in with the Fast2Fab pages:

I've shared my Maui album before but for those who haven't seen it, here are a few more photos for how Fast2Fab works with vacations photos too:

Creative Memories is giving us a 1/2 price 8x8 Fast2Fab album with the purchase of any 12x12 Fast2Fab album for a limited time (March 2-16).  You can find these under the Ahni&Zoe category under Shopping. Let me know if you are going to try this concept! And I would love to see your results as well.  What theme are you choosing?

Creative Memories Multi Pocket Pages

More great news to share! The wait is over - here is a peak at Creative Memories multi-pocket pages. See how they were able to combine both horizontal and vertical pockets onto one page?  I love this! I tend to tilt my camera both ways so I need all these options and did not particularly like being restricted to 12 vertical or 12 horizontal pockets at a time.  These new pages will give me lots more flexibility. I can't wait to use them!!!!

In fact, I'm going to order some today......

These are so slick and easy to use - simply slide in 10 photos (5 per side) or mix your photos with memorabilia or use the pre-decorated Slide-In Packs as filler in any empty slots you may have. (The red Christmas tree design in the middle above photo is from a Slide-in Pack).

You can fill a Coverset with just Pocket Pages if you wanted a super easy way to complete an album in no time.  OR you can mix and match them with blank or pre-decorated pages. Everything is all sized to be interchangeable now.

Sooo I'm ordering some pocket pages and also I'm picking out my 2015 Family Album to order this week. How about you??  Any projects on the horizon?

What do you think of the new pocket pages

I would love to hear your comments either here on my blog or on my Facebook page:

Newspaper Articles
Athletic Letters
Diplomas
Multiple Cards from a milestone party (just fan them out and put a little sticky adhesive behind each one for display)

graduation album

This is a big week in our family...my first born is getting ready to graduate from High School! I started my Creative Memories business because of her (before she was even born!) because I believed in the power of photos and journaling to build self esteem in children. I wanted my kids to have a sense of belonging, a sense of purpose, and a sense of how very much they are loved!

She may not care much about these photos now but someday in her future she may look back and reminisce about High School and realize that it was not too bad a gig. These pages I used the A&Z pocket pages to get more photos in, as well as the White Out page refills

A lot of her pages have lots of photo journaling on them. I didn't really want to show those pages here because some of the stories are so personal to her journey. But I wanted you to know so you don't think that all the pages look like these. Most of them have journaling on them.  If you are not a writer - just a simple "I'm proud of you" or "I love you" will do - every child deserves to hear that in their life. They deserve to not just hear that but to see that written in their parent's or guardian's handwriting.
